Having a little quiet time in recent days - I've been struck by numbers...
- I started work on Nov 12, 1984. That's 25 years ago.
- My dad's been gone for 27 years; My mom - 25 years ago
- In a mere 14 months, I'll be 50. My mom died when she was 59.
- I've been on my own longer than I have been with my parents - 25 years and counting.
- My uncle will be 90 in a year
- I finished High School 29 years ago.
- The Leafs haven't won the SC for 42 years
- 9/11 was 8 years ago now
- The Berlin wall came down 20 years ago
What does this all mean?
Nothing I suppose.... except perhaps that...
Life is indeed short.

It's interesting when you lay it all out there. Life is absolutely short, hopefully you are spending your years wisely.
Time flies when you're having fun. Or if you're not.
