82-0,

Being a long time suffering Toronto Maple Leaf fan... I have come to appreciate the inner beauty and mastery of pathetic and total losses... Not even that fateful night where the puck dribbled off the stick of a befuddled and confused defenceman Claire Alexander and into his own empty net with 43 seconds left in the game.... can match this.

This is a thing of beauty, a work of art for the ages... Please read and enjoy.

Read It Here...

BTW...
Shots on goal: 139 - 0
Average time for a goal scored: 44 seconds

As a Leaf fan, I challenge you to read it again and not have a tear from the sheer joy of this humiliating loss. My god, even a team consisting of Dave Dunn, Jiri Crha and Jim Korn can't even dream of this.

It is stories like this that give me hope to not become one of those annoying positive people who feel that they need to bring sunshine to everyone they meet. Hmph.

No... I will not go there.... for I am a Leaf fan.... ready for another horrible and brutal season and maybe, just maybe ... one of the worst seasons ever. Ahhh.. to dream.

God bless you Bulgarian Women's hockey team... God bless you.

On this we agree .. I read this same story about a crushing, humiliating defeat in hockey, and I, too immediately thought of the Leafs .. :)
