Another Toronto institution is shutting her doors on June 30th, Sam the Record Man... This time due to technology and all the music downloads.... It opened the year I was born - 1961. God, I bought so many records there as a kid and later tons of CDs ....
My childhood home continues to vanish - one damn building at a time...

Oh, Man.
That's sad .. Sam's is an institution. Yonge Street won't be the same without that crazy-ass storefront with the huge round neon records.
