The Hamilton Predators?

Last week, he bought a track of land in Cambridge....

Now, this has being reported.

If he can pull this off, this really is the ideal spot for the club... It'll be tough, as Mr. Balsillie would require agreements from both the Leafs and the Sabres, as he would be treading on their territorial rights.

Hmmm.... move the club and temporarily play in Hamilton while the brand new arena is being built in Cambridge...? Or is Hamilton plan A, and Cambridge plan B?

One other thing about Hamilton's Copps Coliseum, it is NOT a long term solution. It is rather outdated and old. A new arena, with all the modern conveniences, technologies and private boxes is needed somewhere, but where?

It's strange timing indeed with all this unfolding the same week as "the team that was supposed to be in Hamilton in the first place", the Ottawa Senators, are in the finals for the first time in their modern history...

No matter how this goes down, what an exciting place SW Ontario would be... IF he can pull this off...
