I once stayed at a friend's cottage sometime in the mid-80s. I remember it very well because on one particularly hot n' humid night, I was feeling quite ill and queasy. As it was too hot to sleep, I tried to watch some TV but could only get one channel. Meatballs III was on. I remember it being one of the longest nights of my life. I squirmed, winched, did a million eye-rolls, rushing to the bathroom to vomit a couple of times. It was a heluva night.
Last night I was reminded of that, as I watched President Bush's address on his new strategy in Iraq.
