Proceed With Caution

The Canadian electorate got it right on Monday night. They were given a tricky puzzle and they figured it out and came up with the right solution - a Conservative minority. This is so right for several reasons and reflects the political sutuation we find ourselves in. This outcome is good because it allows Harper and his team some time to demonstrate to Canadians that they are competent and a government worthy of Canadian trust. If they are successful in providing good government over the next two years, they will be rewarded with a majority mandate next time. If not, the Liberal machine should be out of the shop by then with a new leader and a fresh direction.

Bottom line: We have choices and options once again.
