Mutiny On The Bounty

More on the jaywalking...

I walked up to a group of people staring at the 'don't walk' sign. So I quickly glance both ways, saw it's clear and went barreling through. Every revolution needs a leader. Some started to look around like perhaps they can do this too. Three joined me, although looked a little unsure of themselves as they crossed with me against the light. Yep - we were the rebels, the ones who dared to question authority; we would not conform. I now realize my mission in life: to teach Estonians that it's not only ok to jaywalk, it's your right to. Every once in awhile, order needs to be challenged. Afterall, what did Beatlemania teach us, anyways?

In my small way, I am turning Tallinners into traffic mutineers, one traffic light at a time.

Sometimes a trickle of stone is all that is required to trigger the avalanche. You are that stone.

Estonia may never recover.

Martin - just don't set a bad example for poor little kids who may want to rebel but forget to look both ways . . .
