1930s NYC



I've always had a thing for New York City in the first half of the 20th century. I think it would have been an exciting time to live in such a city during those early years. I'd give anything just to walk along these streets for a day ...

I came across a cool photography site - New York Public Library's Digital Gallery.

And here are a ton of pics from the Big Apple circa 1930. The street scenes are just beautiful.

Note: The site has a nice collection of old Russian photographs including early Lenin, Stalin and Saint Petersburg.
