Stephen Colbert

This guy is my hero.

He is, of course, a graduate from the best political satire show on TV today - The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Stephen now has his own show - The Colbert Report.

He recently spoke at the White House Press dinner with President Bush in attendance. You can watch him lampoon the president and the press. Pay special attention the reaction of the shocked press sitting in the audience, and of George Bush's scouring face ...

And this especially speaks volumes on the pathetic state of America today... And so does this.

If we had the same ball-less mainstream US media back in the early 70s - Watergate would never have been reported and Nixon would be hailed as a great US President .... Sigh.

It is times like this, I am so grateful I'm a Canadian. Canada may not be perfect, but I think her citizens are more astute of world affairs and less stuck in our ideologies.
