...where the heart is

I am writing from the second floor of an internet cafe at Eglinton and Yonge, in midtown Toronto. As I look outside the window at a busy street scene, it feels real nice. The sun is shining very brightly, the Torontonians are rushing about, dodging traffic & buying their last minute gifts (I will be joining them in a bit) and the air is briskly c-c-c-old. Tonight, I am going to see the Toronto Maple Leafs play the New York Islanders at the Air Canada Centre. It will be the first hockey I've seen in over two years. I've already had a Licks' Homeburger, a Dairy Queen milkshake (banana) and will be having, for dinner, Hungarian Goulashe at my favourite place tonight in the Annex before the game. I'm about to take the Yonge Subway downtown to the Worlds Biggest Bookstore and hit the downtown CD stores.

I am... home.

Now all you need to do is get your ass down to Colonade Pizza and have lunch with me! Welcome home my friend, welcome home.
